Tobacco Road Dance Productions presents Site-Specific In Concert 2024, featuring 5 new works by Casey Avaunt, Alyah Baker, Jackie Bennett, Matthew Rock, Chania Wilson. Each choreographer went through TRDP's unique process of 3 works-in-progress workshops with our Artistic Panel, Jasmine Powell & Heather Tatreau; where their ideas grew from initial inspiration to well thought out choreography. These new works feature themes such as the precious resource of water, bodies as infrastructure, raising up Black voices, how to create community in our ever changing world, and more.
